Directions to the Del Mar Fairgrounds

Del Mar is about 20 miles north of downtown San Diego, next to the Pacific Ocean. Take the Via de la Valle exit from Interstate 5, and head west to Jimmy Durante Boulevard (about a quarter mile from the northbound exit; about 300 yards from the southbound exit). Turn left (south) on Jimmy Durante Boulevard.

Participants enter through the Stable Gate, an immediate right turn after the turn onto Jimmy Durante Boulevard. Spectators enter the Main Parking Lot. Signs and parking personnel will direct spectators on event days.
