Directions to the Del Mar Fairgrounds
Del Mar is about 20 miles north of downtown San Diego, next to the Pacific Ocean. Take the Via de la Valle from Interstate 5, and head west to Jimmy Durante Boulevard (about a quarter mile from the northbound exit; about 300 yards from the southbound exit). Turn left (south) on Jimmy Durante Boulevard and follow signs and parking personnel to the Main Parking Lot.
Parking charge:
$9.00 per vehicle;
$15.00 per RV or motorhome
